When the pavement ends this is where the fun begins. If you are looking for an off road adventure, Dry Creek Road is a fun scenic drive. Each time we visit Sedona, we've decided to start driving the popular jeep tour trails. We used a Toyota 4Runner. Any vehicle with high clearance can have fun on the Forest Service roads. While in Sedona you can also take a jeep tour or rent a jeep and drive the roads yourself. Schnebly Hill is another fantastic route to experience. Dry Creek Road is located in West Sedona right off of 89A. The road leads to several popular hiking spots including the Devil's Bridge and Vultee Arch (which is where the road ends) If you plan on parking and hiking you can purchase a Red Rock Pass from the automated machine at this location. The drive is alongside a dry creek bed-dry the majority of the time anyway.
