Chavez Crossing Sedona Campground
At first glance, this campsite seems to close to the resort and nice homes in the area to offer any sort of privacy or seclusion, but once you make your way through the entrance and descend into the campground you'll feel secluded and forget that you're just a short walk from a large resort.
Chavez Crossing is a group campsite and can be rented for groups of 30 or over 100 people. Parking is a little cramped, straight ahead there is a medium size grassy area and a gravel area with picnic tables. The rest of the campsites are located on a grassy bank of Oak Creek in the Sedona area.
Our tent site was a few feet from the babbling Oak Creek, a soothing sound to awaken to in the morning.
This area is beautiful spot to hike,we followed the creek and climbed up the rocks to get a nice view of Sedona's Red Rock beauty. You can also try catching some fish or just enjoy the cool water on a hot day.
Chavez Crossing is a great spot to enjoy nature.
