Deer Valley Rock Art Center is located in North Phoenix tucked away behind the neighborhoods you will find the small museum and just outside the museum you will wak along a dirt path alongside Petroglyphs preserved in the midst of an urban city. The Rock Art center has over 1500 petroglphs preserved. Three types of petroglyph styles can be found in Arizona: The Archaic style dating from 5000 BC to AD 300, the Hohokam and Patayan style both dating from AD 300-1450.
