| From Phoenix you can drive to the southern portion of Utah in the St. George area in about 8 hours. The Southern portion of Utah is beautiful and remote. Only small towns nearby. St George is the most populated city in this area of Utah. With only a few stores and manicured golf courses, this little town is the gateway to Zion National Park and a long ways from the big city. |
The landscape is striking with the reds, browns and greens. St. Georige is defenitely not a "touristy" town in the sense of stores,or man made attractions. |
Southern Utah is great place to be at one with nature though, enjoy hiking,camping,swimming,horseback riding,golfing,and the main attraction Zion National Park. |
Zion National Park is a must. It is the most beautiful area with the most stuff available to do. |
Hike, horseback riding,camping,swimming,an outdoorsmen vacation dream. Beautiful Mountains, waterfalls. |
